Our Aims:
The community will benefit by having a more diverse group of people accessing the outdoors and physical exercise, with all of the well-documented physical and mental benefits that this brings.
The activities which will be offered will directly benefit excluded and marginalised communities, enabling individuals to overcome barriers to access the outdoors in a supportive environment. The activities are designed to be inclusive and supportive, with a focus on confidence building in a safe environment to make the first step to becoming physically active. Being physically active , connecting with others and connecting with nature has a positive impact on mental health, improving self-esteem and improving physical health which can have a transformative impact on people living in adverse conditions.
